Well, this chapter does answer something i was thinking about in the back of my mind, were the others aging as well. So far this is pretty good and well thought out, although the brevity of this chapter was my only complaint.

As far as val is concerned, perhaps do him as to where he grows to adolescence in a matte rof years, like say to age 10-12 in like 3-4 years, and then their age slows down dramatically as they hit puberty or something. I could see him at the fire dragon shrine, or more likely, studying with Migaalesa? the golden that was at the ancient library. I hope that these suggestions help at least a little bit.

Oh yes, you wanted a real review. Well, I do like the story, but I was kinda wondering whatever did happen with Valgaav/Valterra after the whole darkstar thing. I thouhgt that Filia was going to raise him, too. Ah well, maybe he will still make an appearance and answer that question. I do love how you have made them a happy couple, but I was kinda curious why no one else has moved forward in their relationships, or have they just not announced it yet. Also, what exactly was Filia staring at about Lina when her and Gourry first arrived last chapter. She was describing things, and then got an odd smile on her face, but it seemed like the idea or whatever was dropped at that time.
