RukbatLupa 7/11/04 . chapter 1Chapter one: Whoa. Great wind-up and cliff-hangers. Good solid foundation.
I really liked reading it, but there wasn't much of a wind-up to the hand in the wardrobe. It was really kind of taken in stride. (Like I have room to talk.) Other than that, I really am enjoying this story. |
 darksage-star 5/23/04 . chapter 1A very well written story. Very enticing. |
holeybubushka 9/29/02 . chapter 4 OMG, a sensative, well written Femslash with an actual PLOT *Falls over*
I liked it. the demon things was a little strange, but also funny in a surreal way.(Voldemort schemeing away in a smelly paddock surrounded by cows. Briliant.) and the hand was so much like the Hand in Adams Family, awwww.
Seriously, it IS very hard to find good fem slash. I loved what you did with Parvati and Lavendar, sadly undeveloped in Cannon. They fitted together, and you dealt with an issues that isn't addressed much with fan fic, with Lavendar unsure about the outside world, in denial with who she was(but loved Parvati the whole time.) Excellent work, Minx I shall look out for more of your fan fiction.
Cheers

Delirium Tremens 3/13/02 . chapter 4All I have to say is "go"
Because I rather like your writing, and I want more. :) |
marleystar 2/17/02 . chapter 4Thank you *so* much. There really isn't enough f/f slash around, and this isn't only that, but it's overall good to read. I love the plot line, and I love the idea of Lavender and Parvati having this passonate, intense love. Brilliance.

Andrew Aelfwine 2/4/02 . chapter 2Nice. I like the use of Indian mythology (seems accurate in my admittedly limited experience), and the Defoe reference. Parvati's thoughts about the weapons' potential as accessories and being glad her twin wasn't there to hog the nicest ones were priceless. And of course, she and Lavender are adorable together:-)
I've never found huge amounts of information about Indian martial arts, but I gather they're based on combative applications of yogic and tantric principles. (Just as gung fu is based upon martial application of the same concepts behind tai ch'i and qi gong, which ultimately derive from the yoga brought to China by Buddhist monks.) If you're at all familiar with yoga, that would probably be a good starting point. |
LissaLapin 10/11/01 . chapter 4 Great story. It should be on Schnoogle.Com, though... submit it! |
Valkyrja 9/24/01 . chapter 4I like this very much! IMO, the world needs more f/f slash. Your characterizations of Lavender and Parvati are *excellent*. |
Talah 8/22/01 . chapter 4This was a very good story.
