I particularly enjoyed Simon and Mal's final conversation in the epilogue and the underlying comparison between Barney and Mal (very well done). Any plans for another firefly fic?

xahra99 2005-10-09 ch 1, anon.	abuseI really liked this fic. There isn't a huge amount of good firefly/serenity fanfic out there. This one didn't go overboard on the Chinese swearing or the cowboy-speak, but it captured the flavour of the language used in the show quite nicely. I think the thing I liked most about this fic, though was the accurate potrayals of both medicine and horses-and the ending. The vision of the poor frustrated stallion leading his mares out is just too good to be true. I realise from the post date that you've probably forgotten this fic even existed, but it's good and I'd read more* happily goes off to search for mroe fic by the same writer*
babies-stole-my-dingo 2005-08-08 ch 7,	abuseI'd forgotten you wrote this til I came across it, browsing--I always wanted to read it, and now that I've seen the series it makes sense for me to. Anyway, that's my long-winded way of saying I finally got to read it and enjoyed it thoroughly. Excellent characterization, great story, read just like an episode. Very nice. :-)

I mean, you even gave a happy ending for the horse sniff that, and it all played out so perfectly, what with the explanation for the fed not arresting simon etc. etc. like, wow.
2004-11-23 ch 5, anon.	abuseall I can say is; ‘Mal, you cost me money, because while I was in bed with a client...I cried your name.’ Well, Ok, not all. This chapter made me laugh 3 times It made me gut wrenchingly sad or nervous at least 4 times. It's a really, really cool story. I'll be reading on to the end now.
Ande 2004-08-04 ch 7, anon.	abuseThis story was fabulous! Devoured it the first time, than had to go back immediately and read it again. Loved the Simon and Kaylee interaction, but they still didn't get to kiss! Poor kids. Really enjoyed Kaylee's beliefs of love and loyalty in the epilogue. Very true to her character and shows why Simon's feelings for her continue to grow. Hope to see more S/K from you soon. (hint, hint) :)

alliterator 2003-11-05 ch 7,	abuseWow. What an ending. This is not just a great story, but a nice tribute to Firefly as well. Didn't see the Amelia doublecross coming and was surprised, but you tied it all in and it made sense, so yay! I loved all the flashbacks and Mal's line that he can't even kill someone without getting insulted. You've certainly got his dry humor down. Oh, and Wash with hish dinosaurs? High-larious!
