Interesting story so far... So - just how far gone mentally is Buffy in your fic (sure seems like massive depression going on here...)?

Love the attitude of the new slayer, finaly one who doesn't fall in line to be a slayer.

There was always one so all the others could wait around till B dies and someone else takes over for her from all the slayers.

Can I suggest expanding a little, and using more dialogue, so that instead of just setting the scene by straightforwardly *telling* the reader what happened post crater, you have one or more characters discuss it, at least in part, or have one character's take on events (you do that re Dawn and her mum's grave and it's effective in giving an insight into Dawn's state of mind at that point). It takes longer for the writer, but draws readers in more quickly: essential if you want them to come with you and your characers on a new journey.

Very interesting story so far. I like the idea of having a fic set after the end of the television series since I didn't really like the ending much. Keep up the good work.

I enjoyed reading this chapter a lot. Dawn the Watcher sounds good to me. The kid can read Sumarian after all. Wonder what other languages she knows. Don't worry about the OOC moment. I thought Dawn's formality was appropriate. The kid knows how to talk to Giles ... with the respect he deserves :)

I've always liked FX, whether as friends or lovers. I also think KW was strictly a wartime romance which is apparantly where you are heading with it. Now if you could just get some Dawn-Faith-Xander banter going. I really don't like the bossy superbitch who only cares about her vampire lovers that Buffy became in seasons 6 & 7. She used to be a fun hero & I hope you find a plausible way to make her into one again...

I loved this chapter. I thought it was sweet and the conversation between Xander and Faith seemed free and easy. I had to chuckle at Kennedy wanting to go out. All that new Slayer energy seems to be making her restless.

I love your Xander because I've read meny fics where Xander does breakdown after "Chosen", but I think he's stronger than that. I am an F/X fan so I enjoyed the chumminess between the two :)
