Reviews For: The Final Letter
Rune A. Masterson 2004-01-10 . chapter 1
Wow... This is very short, but very deep. I thoroughly loved the reference to Romeo and Juliet. Now, Romeo and Juliet is my least favorite of all Shakespeare plays...but I'm I sucker for anything that contains a Shakespeare allegory. ^^-
I enjoyed this letter - I always liked Mystique, for some odd reason, and have always been fascinated by their odd relationship (mother/daughter, of course). And the references to Rogue's feelings for Gambit...priceless...
Bravo!
~Rune
(BTW - thanks for reviewing "Song of the South." I don't want to say much, for fear of ruining of the story, but I'm a firm believer in canon pairings. *winks* Don't fear for ole' Remy...he's just being...well...Gambit! -_^)

Hm. Very nicely written. Actually it's put me in a thoughtful frame of mind, because I wonder whether it'd ever be in Raven's heart to say anything like that - whether being executed would ever be enough for her to let go of all her rage and say she is sorry. I'm not sure when this is set. I'm guessing whether it's before or after the time when she tries to kill Rogue would make a difference. I'm wondering whether she did ever feel sorry for that episode. It would be nice if she could make her apologies in a letter like this - to finally show her emotions and her regrets the way you so elegantly put them.
Here's hoping.
