Hey, Ludi! I luv your prose! Incredible well-written fic, and I can see I'm not the only one who thinks so! You make the Gambit character 3-dimensional, but transparent at the same time. Dude, this story is disturbing. I have never seen anyone write something like this before... 'dark Remy' and his 'thoughts' gave me goosebumps. It also makes me feel very very worried and sorry for Rogue..wow.

I liked how you detailed the story with Remy's emotions but kept the conversation with the priest short and sweet.
I'm a big Remy fan and love the idea of a 'dark Remy' so I'm looking forward to the rest of the story :o)

Oh, lovely. This stems from a larger story of yours? I'll definitely read it. But really, it was amazing how you captured the emotions and, even without knowing what actually happened, made Remy's urge somewhat sympathetic.

Very dark - Gambit's struggle with his guilt and anger have merged and he can't seem to forgive himself and therefore her either. He wars with wanting to believe (saying he doesn't believe in god) but his plea to love her is sincere but his disgust with himself believes him damn so more damning thoughts come. So can he break the cycle or does he follow a path to his destruction and possibly try to take Rogue with him (certainly he's had his chance before this if he was a henious as he thinks, his disgust wouldn't even be an issue) or finally realize he has value and thoughts are not deed unless you make them. And as for Rogue she has to have some clue unless she's stupid.

Man, that was intense! Very well written! I hope he can find the redemption he seeks before he commits this ultimate sin.

Oh, wow. I'm... speechless. I'm horrified, and intrigued at the same time. So, SO incredibly written, and most definitely the darkest, most morbid look into Remy's psyche after Antarctica. (Or after whatever breakup they most recently had.) It's truly scary, the way you've made his thoughts so real, so plausible... makes me scared for Rogue.

Poor Rogue. I hope he doesn't hurt her.
