Kikyo's tried to hit her with arrows of purity before. They've gone right through her, no harm done.
Arrows of purity are surrounded by the souls of their user. The mirror was meant to absorb souls. Therefore, there's really no way the mirror could have reflected it.

Good little fic. I kinda feel bad for Kagome, but your story has an interesting concept. Bravo!
