Wow, Trissy! That was wonderful. I couldn't believe that Draco was only 14. He sounded so world-weary and old, you captured it perfectly! I love the last two lines!Great job!

Beautiful! Excellent song choice and your descriptions fit in very well around the song words. You are very good at manipulating the reader's emotions in this fic, and I have to say although I don't really like Draco as a character this fic made me feel so sorry for him *sob*

I do get the impression from the books and the films that Draco is put down alot by both his parents - especially his father, and I think he resents people who are surrounded by love and attention. I mean look at the Weasleys, they really have nothing on him in terms of money, position and status but he still loathes them with all his being, it's probably because they are such a tight knit family.

I really liked the fic, very poignant. Keep up the good work. How about doing a chapter two on Lucius's POV (how does he feel about his son? Does he resent him? Does he feel guilty etc?)
