Nobody Special 2008-09-26 . chapter 1 Sorry, but Josh being okay with this just blows the premise of the story out of the water. If you want Donna in a mismatched romance, I'm okay with that. The whole idea gives me the shudders, but where the muse leads and you have to follow. However the idea that, after all the chemistry Josh and Donna had on screen, he'd be okay with this is just silly. Totally out of character You had an opportunity for a boatload of angst by having him resign in brokenhearted despair, but you missed the pitch. Jed and Donna should know that their happiness comes at a price, to be paid by the man that Jed regarded as his son. That should be with them the rest of their lives.
The "but Josh was with Amy" thing doesn't fly as an excuse. Josh was with Amy because Donna slept with Calley. The man he made a career risking deal with to keep Donna out of federal prison. |
