Except for the mix up in chapters, this story is brilliant. You kept me away from my work - not a good thing when you have deadlines to keep - but I needed to finish it. Extremely well written, good plot, believable characters all make a great story.

Now I want a sequal - you owe us that. You have a great talent. Hope you share it with us again.

Wow. That's all I can say. I've gotten back into the world of Pretender fanfiction because of one lone chance that I picked up the first season DVD and started to get obsessed again. And all I can say is wow.

This story was so utterly fantastic that I read it in one setting (of course there were bathroom breaks as needed) and I was just on the edge of my seat the whole time.

You really showed the life of a Pretender OC better then I think anyone has before. She was well rounded, for a character that grew up in the Centre. I adored this story so much. You didn't over run it with dialogue (which is what most people do) you had an even amount of emotions/detail/dialogue that I enjoy so much.

The ending however was my favorite part. If only because Riley and Mr. Lyle met back up again. I adored it. Mostly because I'm a Mr. Lyle fangirly.

Riley Parker, interesting choice. I'm glad she made it though. Too many people would have had her choose Jarod and "The Right Life" instead of Mr. Lyle and the "Survival of the fit life"

I really did enjoy this story and you are a bloody brilliant writer.

I know she is going to be fine now, living in the world. she has a reason to go on now, work. she has Lyle again. well done, you deserve big hugs for this. you did it very well and i know alot of people have enjoyed this story. congrats and i do hope for another riley story down the track.

Seriously, you've done an phenomenal job on this story. Where to begin... Absolutely loved the description of Lyle's apartment. Not to mention the way you resolved this. I like how you've given the story closure and yet it seems like there's still opening for a sequel *hint, hint* Either way, the ending is perfect. I wanna wish Riley Godspeed or something; wanna know what's going to happen to her.

Remmy, you have got to be proud of yourself for this piece and I mean that sincerly. You have woven an intriguing story and managed to keep the canon characters in character and create awesome origninal characters that your readers can idetify with. Bravo, bravissimi, girl. You derserve a standing ovation so this review is mine to you. ;)

Oh, and you do know that since you've told me about this Lyle story in the works I'm gonna be on your case about it, right? Yeah, I am. I cannot wait for that!

Hey, Sorry i didnt say anthing for the last chapters, didnt realise you had posted. i love how riley is going. how easy she gave them up. But now cos of that **, she is going to think the centre has betrayed her. she needs to talk to Lyle. but not sure now if she will be willing to do it again. though i am surprised jarod hasnt made more of an effort to get her interacting with them. if she thinks the centre has betrayed her, will she make herself get over the fearof ebing otuside? which seems only to be getting worse? i am going to pay more attention to the posts so i dont miss out on new chapters. keep up the excellent work.

Wow. The last few chapters have been a genuine surprise. Riley is definitly not a Mary-Sue. She appears to be a true sociopath as she feels no remorse for killing that Sweeper or for ending the Triumvirate woman's life. I am curious to see where this ends up going.

You've done a beautiful job writing the canon characters- my favorite being the way you've handled Lyle (which by now I'm sure you know he's my favorite). I'm really in awe of your original character Riley- very well written and developed. And I'm not someone who usually likes original characters either. Then to top it all off, you've got a very interesting plot.

Your writing is good. Are you working on an fiction or articles outside of fan fiction as well?
I am confused about Riley. Is her chronological age the same as her biological age.
And since they used three strands to create her, is she a real girl or just has the appearance of one?
Please make it so she's convinced of the truth and that she helps bring down The Centre.
Also about Will, his name is similar to Willie, Raines's heavy. That could be confusing to some.

I hope Riley finds out the truth. I'd hate her bring Jarod back to the Centre (unlike many of the other reviewers, I don't want to see him tortured or dead: Sorry ladies, for those who gloat over the torture Jarod and make him suffer, I tell it as I see it. You hate Jarod ) and if she does bring him back and he gets tortured and killed, I hope she feelsa whole lot of guilt. At least it's not like Miss Parker who was sheltered and lied to. Riley heard.

Yay. I like how Riley is acting, not tlaking to Jarod and all. It is really starting to ** him off. I wonder if she will find a way to call Lyle. I think she will call him at some point in time. she is the only one she really does trust. cant wait for more.
