Vague Lenore, as one who wrote that wonderful story about Obi-Wan and his wife, I'll explain the poem. ;) I wrote it so people could use their imaginations-and wrote it with the idea that Endor was a planet known throughout the galaxy by a few souls. lol But originally, the idea of a love poem-written by an original, female, Jedi character of mine to Obi-Wan, a tacit expression of love. *shrugs* Silly, I know, but fun, nonetheless. Your poem is moving, and brought upon wonder imagery, but after re-reading it twice I still don't know who you're talking about!
First I thought it was either Padme or Anakin spurting lines, or even Qui-gon/Obiwan, but how would either know about the "trees of Endor?"
Then I thought briefly of other forbidden loves and nothing else came to mind. Perhaps I'm dense. Either way, even without knowing who was "talking," I can sympathize with his/her feelings.
