| Ace A 2005-02-21 ch 7,  | abuseI really hope you eventually resume this. Lots of authors have written Amazon fics, but I've yet to see a fic other than Alan Harnum's Waters Under Earth which actually develops and explores the workings of the Musk Dynasty. There's way too much fanon out there regarding the Musk, and so far you've avoided it well. And as you mention, Herb is really the forerunner for Sesshoumaru, so for fans of that character (such as myself), a Herb-centric fic is a treat. Here's hoping you update. |

It looks like you're having a background scoiety and history being made, which really interests me (how can they REALLY separate their men and women that way? It just seems wierd). Then I can only imagine what kind of "training" she'd put him through then. Though I wouldn't want to imagine the kind of graphic, brutal torture/violence comparable to Hellraiser flicks that Herb will inflict on Lime and Mint if they breathe a word of that kind of training experiance to anyone. Loved the little stinger at the end, where Lime explains the door. He and Mint just can't seem to keep out of trouble. Anyways, keep it coming! |

I think you've got not only him, but his culture nailed down really well! Nice work so far, I hope you finish it. You have a few (and only a few) gramatical things that could be fixed, but aside from that, your writing seems very solid to me ^^ Nice fic, bravo! |
