Oh, I like it. Curiosity killed the cat, but it can't kill Sands, can it? Too many good lines to pick out anything particular.

It was one of the first stories in the fandom that I read, and now, several months later it's just as good. Delirious!Sands and El in his usual role of a hope/light/whatever-bringer.
The way Sands can smell and feel blood everywhere is creepy. "Fuck you very much" - one of the best curses ever (even considering that this fandom is very creative in this respect).

Wow. I'm sitting here, in tears, wishing like mad this story didn't have to end. I wish you would keep writing, on and on, chapter after chapter, so I could keep reading it.

I love the mixture of wry humor and genuine heartache. I love the slow growth of trust (El buying Sands clothes notwithstanding). I am utterly in love with the image of the two of them sleeping together in the bed like that. I can picture it so clearly.
