 Seraph Sephiroth 2004-12-13 . chapter 1To see Hojo cry, out of all the characters in that damned game, I still think is the saddest most lamentable thing of all. He's so hard.. Callous.. And to know that something with such a solid foundation could crack, is just heart-wrenching. I really love how you show Hojo in such a different light. I really wish more people would read you fics to realize this and mend their contorted views of Hojo. Stunning once again!
-Seraphim your ** pretty-boy murdering waste of carbon, who loves you very much! :D |
 Lucifer's Seraphim 2003-12-21 . chapter 1This is very, very interesting. Why? Because I sincerely believe this is the first and only fic I have *ever* seen that has Hojo expressing love for Lucretia. Never have I seen something like this! While I don't think he actually loved her, I appreciate the detail and work you put into this. It's amazing! A very interestingly different point of view, and one that never once crossed my mind! |
 Crimson Sun 2003-11-20 . chapter 1Very cute picture of Hojo-sama bawling his eyes out going through my head at the moment...
Quite an emotional piece. I thought the last line was a slightly weak way of ending something so dramatic, but the rest of it was quite good. |
 Jess Angel 2003-11-19 . chapter 1Oh ho ho! Bravo!
That was *muah* spectacular. So few Hojo writers out there, glad someone's writing about him. You have a knack for writing these Vin/Lu/Hojo pieces. I really enjoy them and all the emotions you allow to spill forth -- allowing a glimpse into their triangle.
I love the flow - the stream of conciousness - and the way you showcased how much Hojo loves Lu despite being a crazy mad scientist ^__^; plus the whole Vincent factor. Very cool how it all falls into place and ends with that one thought about getting rid of "The Turk". OOhh, and the "End of story" - clever stuff.
Thanks for posting and write on! Savvy?

 Alan Bates 2003-11-18 . chapter 1A very nice reflection on Hojo's feelings. While you get inside his head and understand him a bit better, you still really don't like the man. I really like how this all falls together.
But the language seems a bit harsh for PG-13 fics. Maybe it's just me that thinks that though. |
 The Jack of Spades 2003-11-18 . chapter 1Very well done, as is all your other work. I particularly like the focus on the ring, how it seemed to represent the bond Hojo was stuck to, whether or not he liked it. He couldn't get rid of the ring just as he couldn't stop loving Lucrecia. You really are a master of writing these three ;) I look forward to more from you. |
 Sephiroth1Ripley8 2003-11-18 . chapter 1I once heard somebody say, "Why must it be so final, like, "I do?" Maybe, "Let's just see how it goes for a little while." Poor Hojo. So in love. |
 Darknightdestiny 2003-11-18 . chapter 1Am I the first to review?
I love the way you get inside his head and actually make him hurt. Most people don't think of Hojo as a person, only as a monster. But...even if he wasn't the nicest person in the world, I'd like to think that even "madmen" have reasons for everything they do.
Vin: ::pokes Hojo:: Meanie.
Ignore him. ::ties him up::
I've always loved your writing style. I like the way this flows from his conscious stream, instead of in a specific order. He just goes through all his thoughts, one by one, which eventually lead him to his conclusion.
And thus, we discover the feelings that he has, the feelings that would drive him to do what he did. And that is why we find Vincent in the way that we do.
Hooray for explanations. Hooray for good writing.
::is proud::
I shall RP with you tonight, hmm?
