I love that Scott decided he had to take a chance.

I love that the kiss was different. I love that Jean questioned whether or not this is what she wanted instead of just going with the feeling. And I, of course, love that she decided it was.

I love that it's the boathouse.

I like that Scott was nervous. I like that Jean asked and I love that Scott said "show me" It was just so perfect. I love their bond.

Jean referring to Scott as her lover is wonderful. I must admit I like the bit where she "made sure" he picked up those thoughts. It wasn't as natural from her. By that I mean that she didn't broadcast them unknowingly, like Scott did.

I love that Scott touched every inch of her, probably something he's been dying to do for some time. And I loved the backyard bit.

I like that the made love again later, that she understood why it was important in a way that maybe he didn't.

I love the last word. That's Scott and Jean to me. Either one without the other is just incomplete to me. They don't engage me separately the way the do together.

I love this chapter. I would really love an outtake where Storm and Warren discuss what they saw. Or start in on Scott.

I love that Robert didn't rant and rave, but left quietly. I like that he didn't report her. My sister would like me to contribute taht she loves the bit where he said "maybe you have kept your hands off him" because it shows that he is open to the possibility she's telling the truth.

Diappointed in bad parents again. I'm sorry. But why do they all (except Mrs. McCoy) have to be bad? Lorna's parents really love her. I thought. I know she chatted with Mom about her wedding (shame what happened there, really). I know this is movie-verse, but when you add in Bobby's family it's like all the parents practically are bad.

I did like that Xavier was a bit surprised at Scott having the same idea.

It felt right. I love that it felt right.

I like the mention of Scott's bossy tone and I like how he took control. He is going to emerge as leader of this group, and that means he has to be comfortable being charge and giving orders.

I loved that it was Jack Diamond, for obvious reasons.

It's strange now, how Scott calls himself prey, when throughout the story he's been more worried about being the one hurting others.

I love that he told Jean.

I'm kinda confused about there being a girl in Juvie with him, I'll admit.

The taking the money was a grand touch. I swear I can hear him sobbing and talking as I read it.

Wonderful job.

Not much to say here but: the kiss! the kiss! we finally got the KISS. Been waiting on it, ya know. :)

2005-01-20 . chapter 7
I'll admit that I was sad to see the negative portrayal of Jean's parents. Like I said, I understand why. I just kinda liked them, even though I've seen very little of them.

I liked that Scott was happy for her having had a good Christmas, even though she wasn't there.

I liked Scott being uncomfortable with Jean's request. I thought she went a little far, too. But, as she says later in the story, she tends to forget Scott isn't her age.

I loved her "great hands" line and Scott just wondering what people would say. I loved that Scott's hands didn't wander a millimeter; he knows what it is to be touched when you don't want to be.

I like that Scott found out about the guitar and that he was pleased rather than angry.

I loved Mrs. McCoy worried about Scott, and I loved Xavier's response.

I was a little sad to see Warren's parents portrayed in a negative light (don't recall them being that way, but I've never actually read a comic with them) but I understand why it was done. Have to isolate them for this to be their family, I guess.
