I love how in the beginning it was:
Portraits of famous witches and wizards chatting softly or sleeping. The room is empty.
Then at the end it was:
Portraits of famous witches and wizards chatting not-so-softly or pretending to be sleeping. The room is completely full.
That contrast and everything in between was amazing. I love how you write Luna, she is so... Luna-ish!!

I like how you use the portraits to emphasis Luna's situation. In one respect she is alone in the room, in another she is surrounded by people commenting, taunting and whispering. It is so sad. Poor Luna. Their teasings is getting at her.

Very sad, but very true. I wonder, do they taunt you too? Do you walk down the hallways of your school and listen as the people look at you, watch you? Does you best friend tell you that you are wierd? Do the teachers see you as different? Do even your parents think you strange? Yes? No? Not many feel your pain, but I do, and I pity you. But Inknow you ask not for pity, you ask for acceptance. And so you write.

Your depiction of Luna in the depths of despair is so powerful in its imagery, it brought tears to my eyes...I love reading stories that are so moving like these, even though they are so tragic.

Aw,that was so sad and so well-done. I really like fics like yours that explore the other side of Luna that proves that beneath that serene exterior is really someone who just wants someone to care about her and that she feels loneliness just like everyone else, she just doesn't show it. Anyway, great job! I hope you write more Luna fics, you portray her so well.
