That storyline might have turned out cliched and horrible, if it hadn't been so beautifully written. *_* I just love the way you went about it--the style and tone... and you captured their personalities absolutely *perfectly*. This is definitely one of the better ToriShishi fics out there--it's going in my favorites. :D

Okay, okay, in all seriousness, I really enjoyed this fic; it's interested to see pre-regular Choutarou, and how you displayed him as a complete pushover; it's obvious he'll be gaining a lot of backbone by the time he's a regular in the club. Also interesting is the first marked display of Shishido's inner strength, and of course, one of their more 'intimate' meetings! Definite squee! Whether as pre-slash or a completely gen fic, I certainly enjoyed it.
Now please, bear my children.

I thought Ohtori being a pushover cf. his height was an extremely cool idea, and I also like the idea of Shishido being sempai-ish in more of the negative sense to him at first, but also not. And this is a very dumb review, but good fic it was.

Oh, girl, I really enjoyed your fic. I like a lot Ohtori and Shishido-san, and I think your story was very sweet and..geez, I forgot the word.
Well, for now, I'll just say I loved it. Please, when you could, write more with those two.

I like the way you've taken two very under-explored characters and given them a life of their own, with more fleshed-out personalities and lots of things to love about them. I also commend your use of details, such as Ohtori possibly being Christian, Shishido's long hair at that point, etc. ^_^ Overall, it's a very interesting story, and I'd love to see you write more fics. ^_^

(One question: when you said 'tatami', did you mean 'futon'? Tatami is not something you would sleep on - it's the actual flooring of the room, the equivalent of a wooden floor in a Western home. Futons are the mattress-like mats that you sleep on, which you'd probably have spares of for guests, whereas 'spare tatami' implies.. extra flooring, sort of. ^_^; Just sort of bugged me, sorry. XD)
