Kits 1/20/04 . chapter 15 After the glowing reviews I usually try and give, it won't come as much of a shock when I tell you I just sat here in one place and read through this entire thing with awe in my eyes. Wow. Just that, wow. You got everything-character relations, drama, humor... I was going to review every chapter like I normally do, with favorite parts and quotes and everything I love, but there was just too much to fit into it. I did particularily like this line (it stuck with me): Newkirk mentioning he wanted to end this "living nightmare". It's also so refreshing to see a vulnerable and scared Hogan. Too often we see a demi-god, cocky, confident, arrogant, and though he was, any psychiatrist will tell you that no one is like that inside and out. Very, *very* pleased to see more to that. So...Wow. Just wow. Kits (still stunned) |
Kits 1/20/04 . chapter 1 *snickerz* Weasel. Kits |
netrat again 1/2/04 . chapter 15 Wow, what a finish - though I fear that poor Hogan is going to be a morphine addict, the way you feed him with it! Bad Hochstetter. Loved Newkirk saying that "I couldn't have done any better" was "high praise". Can't wait to see what you'll come up with next! |
jessica 12/31/03 . chapter 15 very, very, very, good. the whole thing was geat! |
EJ McFall 12/31/03 . chapter 15 Terrific story! Loved Klink rushing to the rescue in the nick of time! Have you started your next tale yet? |
Guest 12/31/03 . chapter 15 Intresting tail. Nice twist, having Klink cotton on to Hogan... |
snowbird3 12/29/03 . chapter 15I loved it! I think this is your best HH fic yet. I have read and liked them all, but I thought this one was written the best, in terms of plot, character development, cliffhangers. I hope you write another! |
ML Miller Breedlove 12/28/03 . chapter 15Cheez, that Hochstetter won't give up. Trying to strangle Hogan! Frustrated little guy isn't he? I like the ending. "no one would ever run the camp like I can" How true! Thanks, for a great story. Marty |
Patti 12/28/03 . chapter 15 Wonderful. The whole story was very clever from beginning to end with a lot of small cliffs for the reader to fall over. Splendid job. |
ML Miller Breedlove 12/23/03 . chapter 13"He’s putting everything in order". I agree with Kinch, that was a chilling thought. Lets get that plan B going. Hochstetter needs to be taught a lesson! Good story, Linda! |
Becky 12/20/03 . chapter 12 I haven't reviewed this enough...but if I had it would be the same after every chapter...Awesome! I can't wait to see what happens next! You are an incredible storyteller. |
Capt. Cow 12/18/03 . chapter 11And plan B is... |
netrat too lazy to sign in as usual 12/18/03 . chapter 11 I know that you write these chapters in advance, so I don't think my reviews had anything to do with it... still, I loved Carter turning to Newkirk for guidance, and Newkirk taking charge! |
George 12/16/03 . chapter 11 Well, you let us off of one cliff, and put us onto another. Now we have to wait and see what plan B will be. I hope you'll write more soon, even though I am sure you'll just take us to another point where we'll scream 'no, what happens next?' How long will Colonel Hogan have to go through this torture? Keep up the good work, and write more SOON! |
netrat 12/15/03 . chapter 10 Nice! From the award-winning speech to Newkirk hitting Carter on the back (as I said, pretty much anything with Newkirk in it is a favourite scene of mine)... and I like Hogan's plan for exploding the bridge. Nicely cliffhanger-y, too! |
