What a pity to end here - the latest visions, the professor’s sabotage and Meowth's cameo were all heating up my interest.
Professor West displays a very devious streak in these last two chapters, and I wonder if his plans for pokemon - and Jade - will be any more noble than Lorenzo's. As he broods pleasantly over his plans in this final chapter, West comes off as very smug and calculating, with a touch of "nothing can stop me!" villainy. Looks like Jade might be caught in the middle of two equally ruthless competitors on her quest for the Edge of Tomorrow and the future of Pokemon.

This future is surely a dystopia for any pokemon trainer, and the R Corporation is full proof - Team Rocket, nerve center of the criminal underworld, has survived well over a century and is flourishing.
The discussion between West and Lorenzo has lots of energy and we can intuit the anger behind the two, but near the end it forces a lot of the subtlety out of your work. Against the casual mentioning of Projects Genesis and Exodus (their purposes I think the reader can guess rather correctly – to create, to export), the outright declaration that “Lorenzo is the great-grandson of Team Rocket!” sucks a lot of the mystery out of the story. While it’s evident who he is from the outset (“R” corporation, big corporate suit, penchant for shadows), your exposition just takes the fun out of figuring things out on our own.
Anyway, that’s just my opinion – I’ll have to see how long this story stretches. The mysteries and conspiracies are, for me, the driving force to continue the story, and you seem to be squeezing your prime material out a little quickly.

Interesting so far. This 'Edge of Tomorrow' sounds like a sort of Lost World, an isolated ecosystem that's developed seperate from global conditions.
I did catch the Stickin' Around reference, but I would have missed the Reboot, pokedex references and SA2 lyrics if you hadn't pointed them out. I do have a better understanding of how these epa/keytools might work now.

Wah! This is SO COOL! I wish I could read more, but there's no more to read. I think you meant 'descendant' in Ash's letter to one of his relatives. I think it's kinda cool that there are at least two Chosen One's in their family...keep up the great work! (if you want to continue it) Later!
