I promised you a constructive review (we're practicing in Literature so I think I can do it) so here it is!
The positives:
I like your plot--it's pretty good. It's a good beginning and you used a few STRONG verbs.
Maybe you could use more description though. Are you shooting for a mysterious atmosphere in this story or just a bit of happy and mystery thrown together?
I like this story and I tried to be constructive! TEE HEE.
But it's good and I expect more..
