Oh battosai... this is the thing that makes me angry about fanfiction- sure, it's amusing to think of the battosai as this angry little voice in the back of kenshin's head. We never seem to understand that they are the same person- it truly angers me, even in the show and manga, that Kaoru is so afraid of 'battosai' why can't she see that it's just kenshin, trying to protect her?
Silly battosai... you are real.

I really liked this. I particularly liked how that side of himself wants to stay hidden with one pitying look from Hiko. Those last lines have a plaintive, lost quality that I think is easy to associate with a teenaged boy betrayed by his own idealism. This ia a refreshing look at Battousai.

It's beautiful as I'm sure many of your reviewers have stated. But what I like most about this is that it makes you feel. The way you've written this, it's easier to understand the Battousai to the point that you can feel what he feels. All those torrent of emotions deep inside, his viewpoint, etc.. etc.

a beautiful rant, i had always thought that no matter what personality was to the fore, both are kenshin- an honorable man.
the 'fractured personality' is a real condition, and each personality together- is in reality a sum of the whole...

This is such a refreshing story. Most of the time you only see people writing about Bloodlust!Battousai or (in the kind of stories I tend to read *shifty eyes*) Lustful!Battousai. It's nice to see him as a man, and a sane one at that.

That was really cool! I loved how you showed this is in Battousai's perspective and how he lurks in Kenshin's mind. My favorite part was:
'I wasn't a part of Himura Kenshin. I WAS Himura Kenshin.' That was so cool!

Aww, that was such a good story. It gives you a lot to think about. Most of us see the battousai as just a killer; a part of Kenshin that has no feelings. What an interesting way to portray him. ^_^
