Mors Mortis Angelus 2009-07-02 . chapter 18i don't get the last chappie, but it was funny...
you have got to write some original material, i would so blow all the money i got (currently, and i'm a bit broke right now) on the book.
i love sad endings... |
Bokua Haiiyou Kai 2009-07-01 . chapter 18Oh my Goodness... This is one of the Best Malik and Bakura Fanfictions I've ever read! It's Sad that Malik dies, and In the Omake Special, I didn't know that Bakura was going to Do That To Malik. *Evil grin* It's Great! I love the fanfiction all the way! ^-^ |
 Minako 2009-06-18 . chapter 18 Best Ending Ever! |
Vladimir the Hamster 2009-05-26 . chapter 16The character development in this is really incredible, the way Malik has changed from the first chapter to this one. And Bakura's darkness is portrayed so realistically here, moreso than the other fics I've read.
I'm rather confused on Kisara being Bakura's sister, though. Was that to be taken literally? Since Bakura said he saw his sister die (at least I think he did) and Kisara's the BEWD... idk. |
Vladimir the Hamster 2009-05-26 . chapter 4I like the contrast between Bakura the Moon and Malik the Sun. :P
Also... Squee? haha. I'm enjoying this a lot. :3 |
Vladimir the Hamster 2009-05-26 . chapter 3aw, so cute. X3 Forget what I just said, I love Malik's innocence. |
Vladimir the Hamster 2009-05-26 . chapter 2Ba;efa;ewof Malik must be infuriating to live with. I swear Bakura has way more patience than I do. hahaha. |
MokoBunChan 2009-02-25 . chapter 1I read this story and I love it! It's really sweet but also really sad.
Poor Malik ;.; I hate his Father... |
Abazigal 2008-12-12 . chapter 18Wow, that was...an experience, to say the least.
I'd say that was probably the best piece of fanfiction I've ever had the privilege of reading. The sheer thought put into it is incredible, and the writing was utterly enthralling. Truly sad ending, though I suppose they can't all be uplifting. The beautiful interactions of the two characters really did make me care for them, and I'd almost like to see a different version where they can live happily ever after. As it is it's perfect, though, and it's a testament to your skill that you could trigger such an emotional response over the fates of these two characters.
You are a supremely talented writer, and I hope you get cracking on original material on top of fan fiction, if you were to write a novel, you could count on my purchase for sure. |
RikaNipah 2008-11-27 . chapter 15Wow nice imagery and abstract with this dream! I cant wait till I finish this fic! |
ThiefQueen87 2008-08-25 . chapter 16And one more thing, if you don't mind. Malik was too docile and meek in this story. I know Malik is a gentle soul deep down inside, but it's out of character for him to be this meek. Malik was quite badass in Battle City, and when he first met Bakura, he just wanted to treat Bakura like one of his mind slaves, so he was being devious. You should have had Malik do things like order Bakura around and such at times. It just doesn't fit him to be so docile...he can have quite a temper at times, and he likes to plot and such...so it would have been much more fitting to do a story where Malik and Bakura are partners in crime, plotting together like they do in Battle City. But overall, I really enjoyed the story and it was very poignant and sad, so congrats on a masterpiece. |
ThiefQueen87 2008-08-25 . chapter 17Oh, and forgive me, but I must say that I don't really like the last chapter. It feels extremely out of place. I know you were just going for the comic relief factor, but I feel that it just isn't fitting to put in after such a tragic, emotional and meaningful story. You should have written chapter 18 about how Malik and Bakura meet again in modern times three thousand years later, and how although they don't have their full memories of their lives in ancient Egypt, they feel a strong connection, and feel they know each other. Anyway, I'm just not one for comedy like in the last chapter, because it make the characters so OOC and unreal, while the serious stories, like Aurora, hit the nail right on and really describe and do justice to the depth and complexity of these characters, and the tragedy and suffering they experience. |
ThiefQueen87 2008-08-24 . chapter 1I love this story. It's so beautiful and so sad, and has so much depth and emotion. This is the best thiefshipping story ever, and believe me, I've read a lot of thiefshipping since Malik and Bakura are my favorite pair. I cried with Bakura-sama when his beloved friend Malik dies...such an emotional story. You should write a story about how they meet again in Battle City after three thousand years. And about how both of them sense something familiar about each other, like deja vu. They always seemed to have a connection, don't you think? And when they argue in Battle City, it reminds me so much of how they argued in your story...so cute. ^_^ |
Kurasama787 2008-08-24 . chapter 14 Wonderfully emotional and beautiful story, if only all fanfiction was as great as this. This moved me to tears. I'm not a yaoi fangirl, but I do like it when a story that contains yaoi is not smut, but instead well-written and emotional and shows how much the characters care about each other and love each other, and this one does all that and more. I can never write enough to tell you how great this story is. This story does Bakura so much justice, because it really portrays him as he really is...someone who is good and caring deep inside, but has suffered so much pain and despair, that he has come to harbor so much hate and anger towards the people that destroyed his life and caused him to suffer, and towards the world. And I love it how these two troubled boys found each other and shared such a deep and close bond. Malik seems like Bakura's soulmate. Poor Bakura. He loses everyone in this world that he ever cared about. I feel so much for both Malik and Bakura, they have both always been my favorite characters, so thank you again so much for this beautiful story. |
