I just discovered this story recently and I read all the way through before I realized that it hasn't been updated in nearly three years. Have you stopped writing? It seems like a waste, there are few fanfics out there of this quality. It's really well-written and I've loved the plot! I know it's been a while but please pick up the story again! It's too good to stop writing on...although this is probably too little too late since it's been so long...

I just discovered this story and have been loving it. I am, however, a little apprehensive about the date of the late update. Has this story been abandoned? It would be a great pity if it has been. It's one of the few truly enjoyable stories I have read.

In chapter 31, Katsura says, "We are ants on a go board. We have to figure out the game before we get crushed." I love the imagery here! So vivid! As a go player, I can all too easily visualise the board and the stones coming down on it - I've even flicked ants off my own board a couple of times when playing outside. This line also completely conforms to something that might have been said then. It really stuck out to me as something truly excellent.

Another note (Also somewhat go-related. >.>): the name Fujiwara Sai. Something you said in one of the early chapters involving him indicated you had gotten the name Fujiwara from a name generator. Seriously? Not from the ghost of Hikaru no Go, Fujiwara no Sai?

I know it's too late to point this out, but it's not Seta "Seishiro" it's Seta "Soujiro", if I am correct on who you're talking about. The creepy smiling (former) right-hand to Shishio, no?
