Interesting piece you've written here. The torture device was ingenious, epecially how it was hidden underneath his clothes. and the aftermath was excellent, especially how Daniel's having a bit of a hard time acclimating back to normal. But then there at the end you can see how proud of him SG1 is and that is truly a wonder to read. Thanks for sharing this story with all of us!

Oh, great idea for a Daniel-whumpfic. The other SG team was good. They seemed like characters you might see on the show instead of just OCs. The only drawback was that it was too swiftly and neatly wrapped up at the end. There was no direct interaction between Daniel and the team between the rescue and the next mission.

Ok, I read this fic before, and thought, "Alrighty then, I'll just review later when I have time" but I forgot the name. Well, today (months afterwards) it hit me that it was like, "Discipline" or "Patience" or something... so I went through all the pages of SG-1 fics (I don't trust search) till I found it.

And guess what?

I still love it. Excellently written. Sweet. Loved Meyers. Love Daniel still. Love Jack. Teal'c and Sam still totally cool.

The ending was really, really nice.
