This story is just as heartwrenching ... but I was so glad to see the same events from Grissom's perspective. Amazingly, you capture the same scene but with different, yet still powerful emotions. Beautifully written. I am so glad you are going to continue with another part ... I have so many unanswered whys (and whats)! Why didn't Grissom recommend Sara for the promotion ... what were his reasons ... what new road did he choose? Please hurry with more!

Well, my goodness! I didn't think the first one could get any better, and then you do this. Loved reading his perspective. And so cool--the bit about what road he took. Do I smell another sequel? You're so good at them! :)

I love this series. This story, though just as sad as the first, helps give a more complete picture. Your handling of the various emotions is dead on. Can't wait for the next in the series.

I was so sad after I read the first one, and like a fool, I read this one hoping somehow you'd change the ending, or have it end on a more positive note (I said "like a fool" right?).
So now I'm dying to know when the third one is coming out, and I'm seriously hoping these roads end up converging again, if you know what I mean!
