 PsyKnight 2007-06-10 . chapter 4A dark classic. |
Metaphorical 2004-09-05 . chapter 4Wow. This was a GREAT and HORRIFYING retelling of my ALL-TIME FAVORITE FAIRY TALE! I LOVED it! Congratulations! In a way, I found it comical... because who sees a murderous Snow White every day?! I loved it! It reminded me of "The Tale-Tale Heart." This was amazing, I want you to do "Cinderella," and "Rapunzel" in this style! Keep writing! |
CrystalClear44 2004-08-24 . chapter 4please take a crack at rewriting other fairy tales or stories into Edgar Allen Poe themed renditions |
 CrystalClear44 2004-08-24 . chapter 3hm interesting |
 CrystalClear44 2004-08-24 . chapter 1wow this is great! |
 snazy piranha 2004-05-09 . chapter 4hey,
i love it! at first i thought it would be almost exactly like the original, but it wasn't! good job at this, it's hard to write like edgar allen poe, he's a genius, and difficult to copy. anyways, you did this beautifully, keep it up! oh, i was thinking, maybe do sleeping beauty in this style?! because you could turn the evil fairy around, and make it really scary. maybe even rapunzel! anywho, great job, i loved it! oh, and i hope you'll come read my story on the evil stepmother!
AWESOME! (sorry i can't stop repeating myself, it's a curse...) |
Nickolaus Pacione 2004-03-19 . chapter 4Speaking as an Edgar Allan Poe influenced horror writer, you did a hell of a job writing this. I wrote a Sherlock Holmes story in a way if it would be written by H.P. Lovecraft, but this is one of those stories that was meant to be a horror story. Just something about it seems to work. Intellegently written and very grim. I will send you a link to some of my work via email if you are interested. I am an original horror author who cites both Poe and Lovecraft as an influence, and when I read this one -- I sensed the influence really strongly. |
Eliv 2004-02-04 . chapter 4Sorry Elle! I kept thinking I reviewed this story. ^__^;; Of course you know that I love this story because I am the all mightly horror loving person, anyway. yeah... Now I know I sent you a review! XD
~*The lovely, charming, and absolutely wonderful Eliv*~ |
 fiera007 2003-12-23 . chapter 4"totally steller" huh? right...THIS SUCKS! |
Tashilover 2003-12-17 . chapter 4 Wait...you're apologizing because of ONE PERSON who thought different?
Don't apologize. You have nothing to apologize for. The reader knew what they were getting into when they read the summary. (Uh, hello? POE! I think that yells, "HORROR STORY" YOU IDIOT!)
This was a great fic because it's different from the other fics I've read. Besides, the origin of most fairy tales are weird and demonic.
This was great. Don't think otherwise. |
 ? 2003-12-15 . chapter 3 This is very sick. |
Tashilover 2003-12-12 . chapter 3 I enjoyed this! Truely I did. I'm a fan of Poe's work and reading something like this made me giddy with glee! (Demonic aren't I? Hee hee!)
Anyhoo, this is a great fic and hope to see more from you soon! =^-^= |
Rawnie 2003-12-11 . chapter 3Snow White is so phyco in this story, but it was well written and original. Write some more retellings please. and don't forget to read my stuff =D. |
