I remember this old fic! :) On the re-read it's been quite good but one niggling thing still stands out; WHY was Ginny dating Draco Malfoy, going so far as to use rude words to her friends, who, by the way, seem to have utterly forgotten what happened?

I guess the real answer to that will be in the sequel. Off I go :)

george is going to be captured bc one half cant stand without another, and i think either cho or luna is the other bc cho/harry's first kiss was under the mistletoe, and luna was always talking about nargles in the mistletoe. so ya. i guess i have to read to find out but i wanted to take a guess beforehand.:-)

I'm afraid that you lost me at the end of chapter three. In my opinion, no post-Ootp fic that has Harry's Occlumency lessons continuing with Snivellus is remotely credible. At the end of book 5, Dumbledore himself admits that they were a mistake. Considering that Snape used them as nothing more than an attempt to torment Harry, expecting him to be willing to continue them with the greasy git just isn't believable.

It was interesting up to that point, but suspension of disbelief only goes so far. Also, the scene with Malfoy on the train looked like setting the stage for turning him good. Redeeming either Snape or Draco is a major strain on credibility, redeeming them both seems to be something far too many authors try to do. Again, just not something I can buy into. Neither of them to that point has shown any sign of being a decent human being, so trying to change them both doesn't really wash.

Sorry to sound so negative, but those are glaring inconsistencies in my view. Good luck with your work.

Brilliant story! Quite original and easily one of the best stories I have read in quite some time. Though there wasn't really any Harry Hermione romance, it was still very well written. Well done.

Aw! That was good. Is hould have read this before the one about the darkest days but there both really good and I hope I can read the third one. Usually I read completeed ones because I get bored really easily having to wait for the chapters. But I'll try my best
