This is a more realistic Dumbledore than the fanon 'omniscient' one; if he did actually know everything that was going on all the time, how can one possibly acquit him for the bullying and crimes he had allowed (because his silence enabled them) to be committed under his aegis?

The time-worn cliches (in this case, Hermione returns to teach with their daughter that she never told him about) are always fresh and new in your hands. But you always leave us hanging. I wish you had more confidence in your own work. Perhaps then you'd finish the masterpieces you start.

It's terrible with you, like a disease, this starting one great story and abandoning to the wind for another great story and likewise. I mean, I loved that whole ONE chapter of "And Miles to Go Before I Sleep" and for some reason I never read this one and it's completely fabulous as well. This is such a promising start!

It looks to be interesting bouncing about through different time periods, and we've already got a tasty glimpse into Severus himself -- secretly pining!Severus is so delicious -- and I really want more! Oh, don't make me beg!

I don't know, but this story is boring me half to death. It was a struggle to keep reading through it. I think that you need to work on your writing style to keep the reader interested. Just a thought. I see potential though, so don't give up. :)
