Oh, and Beren is son of Barahir, not brahir. Beren is a mortal man, not bern, and Elrond knows more of the story of Beren and Luthien than Gandalf does. Fan-rape other things, but don't mess up the Lay of Luthien.

the Slandered Book of Spells Grade Number 7...that is what you should call this fic. It's really atrocious. The plot is ridiculous, the mistakes are laughable, and you practically beat canon over the head. 'Isildur' is the worst kind of characterless Gary-sue imaginable.
I laughed throughout this fic, and not because it contained a shred of humor. Elrond half-eleven indeed. Half of eleven is 5.5, not a noble elf lord of split parentage.

I can see that you fixed some of the spelling and punctuation in the early chapters.

Me again! The Lord of the Rings is three books, the Fellowship of the Ring, the Two Towers, and the Return of the King. Unless you're counting the Hobbit, which goes before the Fellowship. Then you have four. Of course, you could also include the Silmarillion, the Unfinished Tales, the Books of Lost Tales, the Lays of Beleriand, and all the Histories of Middle Earth into that catergory as well, and you'd have far more than a mere six books. Just wanted to point that out.

Alright, I don't have many qualms about the story itself, but you spell things wrong. Your "Hair" in your "Hair of Ellendale" should be "Heir of Elendil," and your "Someone" in the same sentance as above should be Summon. Just ask if you need any help!

Three suggestions: , a look at how names were spelled (It's Elendil, not Ellendale, and glasses so you can read what the books say. A read through the Silmarillion would help as well, since you seem to be relying on the movies for accurate information. The "Lay of Luthien", as they call it in the movies, is actually the "Lay of Leithian"... all in all, an interesting premise, but could use a good overhaul, particularly in the foreshadowing department.
