This is one of the best stories that I have read. Keep it up.

First the characterization of yami in your short story was dead on, reading it one can clearly feel the frustration and inner turmoil. However I feel that the poinency youve built in this story was ruined by that kissing scene in the end. it felt like it was totally out of the blue. As youve charcterization of yami's relation with yugi was one of deep respect and gentel concern. given that it felt very forced, like doing it for it's own sake.

But the first 2/3 is perfect.
