Lovely! Those kids, their dogs/pets, parents and relatives, to thank Sam, is probably the only way she could be brought out of her depression. So like Sam to focus on her one mistake when an entire village of kids owed her their lives. The only bit that I would have loved to see is more play for Daniel and Teal'c. I think they would have tagged along just so that they could support her recovery.

I think you write beautifully. This is one of my favourite stories. Your Sam is so true to character: selfless, deeply compassionate, courageous and brilliant. I can believe that the real Sam would sacrifice herself for the kids in the manner you described. Thank you for writing.

Great short story, please, please do one more when baby Carter O'neill is born, please or one say in five years time when Jack reties and Sam prmoted. Jack look after the kid/s at home while Sam still works at the SGC, it just an idea

great chapter some home coming for Jack and funny ending when it came to diaper changing, lol. but how can he change the diapers if he at the alpha site?

Great short story! I loved the way you had Jack propose.

An interesting chapter. Kinda gross that she had the children drink her blood in order to keep them alive, but hey it kept the story interesting.
