What a great story! You explore Vegeta's feelings of inadequacy so well and Bulma's response was very well thought out. I have always thought (and that's not just because I'm partial to Vegeta) that although he has not always been the kindest or most understanding person, he stood by his family, even sacrificing himself for them. I can't say the same for Goku. I'm really glad that I read this story.
