Admitedly, part of me is disappointed that you didn't put this in the original Escaflowne world. Your plot wouldn't have worked, but the implications and repercussions of such a relationship would have been part and parcel in the twisted world that Escaflowne turns into in the last few episodes. Still, you are a very good writer and I have become a devoted 'shipper of alternate pairings just because I liked the author's style where I first saw it. I look forward to where you take this.

I must admit that a big part of me is itching for the long-awaited (in my case at least... and I'm almost certain it is also the case for quite a handful of people reading this...call it a gut feelingXP) and anticipated encounter between Dilandau and Hitomi but I love how things are progressing and developping. Your detailed description of scenery and events really make the reader feel like they are in the story and that's a beautiul feeling when you're reading. sighs contentedly All that being said, I do have this little thing I was just wondering about though and forgive me if it has been answered before and if it sounds a bit forward. I know that Hitomi was immediately expected to assume the role of something totally different than what she is but I can't help but wonder how she became so wise and "mannered" in such a short amount of time. I agree that Hitomi was forced into accepting this role but it is the role of the King nonetheless and sometimes I find myself wondering if she's been King of Fanelia all of her life. She went from being a normal highschool girl to acquiring not only the mannerisms but also the "strategic" thinking as well as diplomacy of a true-born King in the short span of one month. But then when I really think about it, I see that destiny plays a big part in this story so maybe it's somehow all familiar to her so it came naturally through instinct. I have to take into consideration that she has a strong connetion to this world and has a powerful sixth sense. So in that case, it would be totally expected! Which means I should shut up!cries Anyway, I hope you aren't offended because I thoroughly ADORED... and when I say ADORED, I mean A-D-O-R-E-D this piece but I was simply just curious... I am but an ignorant reader who greatly admires your writing and is trying to piece together the puzzle of a fantastic fic! I REALLY REALLY can't wait to read the next chapters!! Again, you are an amazing writer and again I apologize for sounding forward, it was totally not my intention whatsoever. In fact, I had the courage to say so only because I respect writers who take the time to answer to the readers' queries.runs away and cowers behind table... gomen nasai... You are an awesome writer! I too, grew up in the middle of nowhere and my villiage was stuck between two cable sectors. Nor would they bring cable in unless there was more than one family who wanted it, nor could we get anyone more as most of the families had satilite...which is what we ended up doing. As for not having access to the net, we got ours from the telephone lines. Although now that I am living in the city, my brother got Roger's HighSpeed Cable Internet. The story is great so far, I am really interested in the way you have portraied the characters and everything. I also agree with you about Dilandau, he is my favorite as well.

It's really good and sort of refreshing almost, in a good way of course. Hope to see a new chapter up soon, I can tell this is going to be one of those stories you just can't put down until it's finished.
