So, here's my review again: I love all of the little subtle changes you put in, like how Darry was supposed to meet up with Dally, who never showed up. Oh, and the little backstory of Dally getting tossed in jail at age 10 - very clever. West, as always, cracks me up. I can't believe the story is almost over. I can't wait to see what you've got planned for the end, since enough has been altered (with respect to the book) that I have no idea what to expect. Your Mike story also has me wondering how things will turn out. Liz :)

Very funny, the way she's so sick of the southern accent, and how Dally wants to hear her talk. Good realistic bedroom scene, with Dally getting right to the point and Sevrin diving right in, then wondering why she's thinking about fifty other things. Oh, and I love how she answers the door without batting an eye. Great job! And I've got a lot more reading to do today, hahah. Liz

I'm liking Aries more and more, even though he's always been one of my favorite characters. I think you're really getting a lot of depth into his character the more you write about him. And the hair, I love it. My uncles used to pull their hair back like that. I liked the little subtle changes between this and the book, based on the extra characters. Nice job. And I liked how you wrote Steve's POV, especially that he doesn't have this dripping attitude you might imagine from the way Ponyboy sees him. And his thoughts on Evie were good, how he looks past her annoying features because there's something about her that he really likes. Nice job, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter...I think ;). Liz

It's refreshing to see Darry's POV and you've portrayed the responsibility he has without making him seem 'old' There are a few typos but nothing major that I can see and I look forward to continuing to read the rest of this fic. When will we see more of the Finn/Darry relationship? I know it's because of business, but I miss their relationship. haha. Thanks for updating; hopefully the next one will be soon!

NittanyLizard 2007-02-07 ch 30,	abuseWoo hoo! Wo ho! (me cheering) I love Aries, he's so darn cute! He's got quite the intellect, too. I would really love to see some more of him with the rest of the family over on fictionpress, like Rock or West, because I love this family and really you have nothing else to do with your free time ;) There were several places in this chapter that made me laugh, and I really liked how Aries filled everything in as if he were hanging out with the reader. The exchanges between him and Layne/Finn are always enjoyable. Oh, and the way he was trying to figure out what to wear - I've got a light load in my washer right now from yesterday, haha. Man, it's like you're spying on me; first the stuff on the steps, now the clothes in the washer...because there can't be anybody else out there like me, right? :D Sorry this took so long!
