I can't believe it! I just clicked on this story to read it again, and realized I never reviewed it! Oh Tree, forgive me! I adore this loving, clever, hobbity story. What a fantastic gift for Bilbo, and what delight everyone found in creating a wonderful, memorable day for him. Happy sigh.

I don't really have much to say on this particular story - which does not mean it wasn't good - it means it was particularly good! And I'm just sitting here basking in the good feelings and lovingly placed details which made it complete. What a lovely Yule for Bilbo and the hobbits! It's strange to read a story in which you put a touch on the life of inhabitants of hobbiton, but you do it very well. It's too bad you haven't written a story about Bag End...

This tale is so sweet, precicely what Bilbo Baggins needed. All of them have done a great job with the map and the carvings. I would have liked to be there. :)

I love this story! Sam the Goose is brilliant! it would be very funny to see a hobbit chased by the great bird. And I agree gooses can get a bit frightening at times :) I also loved when Glorfindel remarks he put Sting inside Bilbo's house! ;) Lovely story!
