Wow. what a dreadful story. I mean it's good..but...gah..It's painful to read :) good job.

Well, I make it a point to check when the last update was on all fics I plan to review, and since you haven't updated in three years, I'm gonna assume it's abandoned. This will not, however, stop me from saying that this is by far the most well-written and in-depth addict!Snape fic that I've read. Your style and form are great, and I especially liked the way you manipulate langua ge between your prose and dialogue, as well as the varied accents within the dialogue. It's rare to find this level of structure in fanfiction. I do hope you will one day pick up writing this again, or at least continue writing anything. If not, well that's just too bad for us fic-junkies isn't it?

I'm just backing up a chapter cause I can't re-review on the final chapter. Is there any chance of getting more chapters on this story? It's terribly like watching a car crash in slow motion, You can't stop the progression of the crash, but it's also morbidly fascinating.

At this point in the story, I'd just so dearly love to shake Albus Dumbledore until his teeth rattled. Just *what* is the bloody bastard thinking. He's got a spy who's coming apart at the seams from the stress, so instead of getting him somewhere that's non-threatening to get some of the pressure off, he puts him at Order HQ in the very place where Alastor "the only good Death Eater is a dead Death Eater" Moody has had and continues to have free rein to teach and reinforce his blind bigotry and murderous prejudice in others, and the Weasleys and Harry are such fertile ground for these seeds of hatred. Dumbledore is lucky that Severus is working on a slow form of self-murder, cause we've just seen that Moody is going to try and speed that up. With the unremitting pressure, Dumbledore is just so lucky that Snape hasn't just walked into his lab and drunk a bottle of poison that has no antidote, and that is still a possibility lurking in the background. Wow. I love how you wrote in the voice telling Severus not to relapse. At least he's trying hard... Damned ignorant Moody, though. I'd like to tighten HIS leash a little too tight, myself... The meeting Remus went to is still a little confusing, but I'll most likely read this fic a million more times before I tire of it :).
Oh gee. Alcohol and drugs. Actually, that pretty much sums up my mental picture of Severus. I think his accent is pretty hilarious. I'm sure we'll hear it a lot :).

*is speechless* Powerful stuff! The way the dark thoughts torment Severus throughout was written well, in my opinion. The thing about the addictiveness of Dark Magic was pretty cool, too. Never heard anything like that before; I love reading things I haven't seen before. The drug abuse adds a lot of drama, which is a good thing in this fic's case; it's not overpowering, which occurs a lot in other fics. Loved it!
