And I don't have a problem with how Johnny behaves at the end - it's the only way he has of forcing any answers out of the future (except I'm applying it to FJ now). Threaten to cut off access; if they're not telling, there's no need for it anyway. Though I didn't think of Grissom's cane. Lozzie, please continue!

And I have no problem with Johnny acting tough at the end of the chapter...the future of the world is at stake here, and he's dealing with a small-minded man who just can't seem to see beyond his own needs.
If the only way Johnny can get the answers he needs is by being a little bit...hard-nosed, then so be it.
