I love this one. Lovely extension of the series characters, logical progression of the plot-line. I'm just sorry it's a one-shot and we don't get to see who wins the election.

Very enjoyable story... I absolutely love what you've done with the characters. You also have a unique grasp on both the political and practical difficulties that they'd be facing, and that comes through both clearly and with sensitivity. I'd love to read more from you.
One nitpick - Adama's first name, I believe, is William. Husker is his callsign, like Apollo is Lee's. Calling him Husker would still be significant, but it's not an exchange of first names - exactly .
