What a fantastic story!! I just finished it, since I've been in a Rikku mood lately and been looking things on her up lately, and this is one of the best Tikku stories I've read :D

Wow this is a really good story. Its rare I see 1st person perspective written so well on here. I'm looking forward to seeing how you go from here towards the ending.

i was happy when Tidus blew up at Wakka. I know discrimination personally, so i never did like Wakka much, with how he cursed the Al Bhed.

of course, it WAS fun imagining his KH self just suddenly yell "DAMN AL BHED!" at the top of his lungs, and everyone staring at him. and someone goes "...what's an...Al Bed?"

"...hell if i know."

GOOD STORY

this has been a good read (though fairly quick)
and you have a good concept of it all..
but i can't help but feel your not going nearly as in depth as you should.

Your scenes are incredibly short and i wonder how you're able to get by with it. It's like the game is a pond and your story potential is a pool. You're only taking cup fulls of water at certain places from the pond to fill up you're pool. If this keeps up, you'll have just enough to fill the entire pool up to an inch, rather than it being several feet of fun.

that was a weird analogy, but accurate and satiable enough.

it may be late to go back and extend each chapter, but i'd like to see more in this.

It's a good story, but i don't like how i'm only seeing clips from it, i want to see... experience the ENTIRE movie. It's as if you're rushing to finish it. And you shouldn't. (it's been 6 years, i don't see why you're rushing haha)

but honestly, be more indepth. Because it hasn't been, the romance between tidus and rikku seemed to have been skimmed. there were too many references to moments they had instead of actually writing them out. I wouldn't have minded if this entire fic was SOLEY based on the two and their adventures BEFORE they caught up with Yuna and the gang.

well hope you take this criticism well.
you've done a fair job in being in character for everyone. I especially enjoyed the relationship you built with Brother and the rest of the Al Bhed. It's something i really would think about when/if i ever tackle a Final Fantasy X fic (which i've been contemplating for forever. Though it will be a cross with Naruto haha)

(tip: if you have problems finding the time to write or getting the will to write long enough to have something written down...
-if you write for about 30mins, you can get around 500 words finished. So if you write 30mins 5days out of the week, you'll have 2500 words by the end of it, which should be sufficient enough for a chapter.
-but i myself can't write anything during 30mins and usually perfer writing atleast 2k words all in one go, then finishing up later. each author is different. The real key is... GETTING STARTED!)

I just finished reading the story. It is amazing! Rikku and Tidus, I love them together! Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see Rikku and Tidus in Zanarkand. Very interesting take on the FFX story line, I lost count of the hours I played it back when it was first released on the PS2. I like how you keep the feel of the game while also changing it to suit the Tidus x Rikku pairing, I look forward to reading more.

Also if you end it somewhat like the original game will you be doing a FFX-2 sequel with Rikku as the lead character?
