It's highly unusual for me to read fanfiction poetry, and even more unusual for me to actually like it. I don't know what it is about yours that struck me; the starkness, perhaps? but I truly enjoyed it. Deep, complex meaning achieved in few words. Bravo.

Romance poetry can be difficult to write without resorting to dribble, but this surpasses the rest of the Matrix fan poetry I've read. (Granted, I'm a newbie.)I like how the words run together- feels like their spilling out. The lips=rose petals bit is a little old, but you work it well, as if to say that trite similes don't apply to Neo and Trinity.
