I really LOVE this ending, it's really what should have happened, too bad they lost time with this whole Ben-Laden son in law stuff... It's excellent, Paula is my favorite character! Jessica Steen would really have acted these scenes so well!!

This fic showed us part of the Tony/Paula dynamic that was only hinted at in the series, notably in 'Heart Break' and 'Mind Games'. It was very sweet seeing them together in the Italian restaurant. I had a good chuckle with Mama warning Paula about that 'rascal' Tony.

One line that strikes me in particular is when Tony opens the door for Paula: "Always open doors for ladies, a lady goes first..."

After the events of 'Grace Period', that's got to be one door Tony wishes a certain lady didn't go through first.

Tony was getting a little two personal, for my taste anyway. I have a feeling that you'd have more luck getting more personal info out of Gibbs.
But... I don't suppose you could be convinced to write another story with Paula in it?
