anyways. I like this one.
I think the characters have evolved a tad differently over the episodes that aired later, but Tony was dead on.
This is certainly one of the better Kate/Tony pieces out there.

Ok, I know this is a really old story, and it is totally odd to get a review for it now, but I am going back and reading the Tate fics I haven't read yet, and I just wanted to let you know I think this is awesome!

It seemed such a shame that this story had one lone review. So now it has two :) Okay, I was wondering if you were going to go further with this one. Maybe take it out of POV and have Tony let slip about the previous smart colleague he hurt. Or was it more than one woman? What was dangerous about the colleague he dated? Why would Tony be so afraid to let the 'smart ones' in and discover the real him? How does he manage to hurt the ones he truly cares about? See, you left the story wide-** open. :D So many unanswered questions, so many promising chapters. :D Perhaps a little liquor would loosen his lips. I think Tony can probably hold his liquor rather well though, so maybe an adrenaline crash brought on by Kate getting shot(bedside confession..Hey, i might use that. :D), the death of a friend or family member, even an ex, might open him up. Oh well, just encouraging the inccorigable. Hehehe.

YAY! I've been waiting FOREVER for a fic that isn't Kate and Gibbs. I'm a Kate/Tony 'shipper myself and I thought I was the only one who noticed. This was such a nice Christmas present! I think you're spot-on with their thoughts. I didn't buy Kate's brother/sister comment. Especially not after the way she stared at Tony before he covered himself with that chair. :D I missed the last 45 mins. of Marine Down. My tape ran out. *grumble grumble* I'm hoping they'll rerun it soon so I can catch what I missed. But it sounded like a great episode. Anyways, thanks for writing this. It really made my holiday!
