This was very good. It's so hard to find good Wakka/Lulu and this one is a gem.

I love how this piece shows how they work as a couple. Everything clicks and is told in a way that makes it very enjoyable to read :)

Absolutely, incomparably gorgeous. I love how you describe life on Besaid - the kind of sleepy half-paradise of it, the frying sweetfruit and the tea - and Wakka and Lulu feel so incredibly *real*. You have got the entire tone down of what it must be like in the Calm, for Wakka and Lulu for whom it is all over, and this is beautiful. I'm heartily sorry I hadn't read it before now!

I loved Wakka fussing, and Lulu getting irritated but letting him, and the little things that were so cute I actually let out a tiny 'squee!'. (And felt like a dork.) Beautiful, beautiful.

Aw! I never really liked the pairing, but you make them so cute! Good job... very good job. Your writing style is superb... I like how there's very little dialogue in the first part and yet you can hear everything that's said. And the teasing... it's wonderful. Nice work here.

I love it. My poor little heart can barely handle this. So many people dog on the Lulu and Wakka pairing. AS reflected in this fic, I think they compliment each other well as a couple.

Though, the animators shouldn't be so lazy...It disturbs me that Lulu doesn't look the slightest bit pregnant, and yet, they say the baby is coming soon O_o'

Aww, that was cute. ^_^ It's good to see good Wakka/Lulu - I'm not the biggest fan of it, and I think it was really...pretty random in X-2, since I got the brother/sister vibe from them in X that I got from Wakka and Yuna. But occasionally I have a hankering for it, and it seems that when people write it, they never do it well. So thank you for this fic. It's a nice, laidback look at them - realistic and not perfect but meh...at the same time really cute.

I, too, was puzzled by the lack of animation to indicate Wakka's chubbiness and Lulu's pregnancy. I was able to explain away Lulu's appearance to myself, as women in the old days wore corsets so pregnancy didn't show at all (which must have been damaging to the fetus), but Wakka's appearance just CAN'T be explained. Except that the animators are lazy.
*sigh* well, if I were the one doing the animating, Wakka would look chubby, and Lulu would look pregnant. But I am not. -_-; stoopy animators...

This sounds much better than Square's version of it. It's so realistic!

I don't know what to say other than to comment on how cute that was! Aw...
Oh, and anything written well in present tense tends to impress me since it's so hard to do without lapsing into past. Great job with that! It worked really well for this story, emphasizing that this is the present--the time after Sin, the Eternal Calm, etc. It was a nice touch.
The characterizations were absolutely perfect. I loved how you expressed Lulu's want to be independent and Wakka's over-protectiveness. The line saying that Lulu found it both endearing and frustrating--that was absolutely perfect wording there.
So basically, that was a beautifully written and extremely cute piece. I quite enjoyed it ^_^
