An odd pairing here. Of course, they're going to have to wait a few years before anything can really happen between them. Hotaru's only in, what, middle school by the time the others graduate?

My thoughts:
-Overall liked it, in my admittedly limited experience with SM fics, not sure I've seen a Rei/Hotaru match.

-For the moment, I'm assuming it takes place after everything else occured in SM. Makes sense, considering inners are getting to college age.

-This particular match can both be good and a problem. Rei, is a very forward, agressive personality, Hotaru is a extremely shy recluse. While they could bring each other the companionship they need, it could be a very rocky relationship going in. Good for a author, as gives many possibilities.

-the breaking up seemed more rushed annd disjointed than it needed to be. However, I'm assuming you did that to set the stage for the following chapters, rather than have this aspect dragged out.

-I'm a bit uncertain about the future and how Setsuna is going to stand in this, it may be a hard blow for her. Especially considering her relation to Small Lady. If this is a somewhat temporary split to allow them a chance to fullfill dreams before reforming and going ahead and forming Crystal Tokyo, then Chibi-Usa should still be there, though possibly altered. If this split is permanent, then Chibi-Usa, at least as known by Hotaru, is truely gone.
