i loved tio's story. that was just some crazy thought food. i don't believe you write these a half hour before deadline. although at the same time, i wouldn't be surprised if you did. so whats the story brother?

its been a decade and half, or so it seems, since i had enough patience to ram out a story for all im gonna say is that its nice to see that the old timers (aka the people that inspired me to write in the first place) are still at it. so me, these are the classics... and maybe they shouldn't be, but i don't mind.

... I'd missed these Turks. It's awesome to see them like this again, up to terrible hijinks and... I made it to "Twenty" (in regards to the duct tape) and just started howling in laughter. Too many excellent zingers in this, and Reno's interaction with Rufus and the other Turks is dead on. Fantastic work with this one too, Reno!

You have this awesome ability to make something sweet and funny without making it saccharine, and this is a perfect example. I love a ton of things about this ficlet, from the diamonds in Da Chao to Yuffie starting the fire the modern way to Reno's deliciously un-fandom-like quiet life. But the interaction between these four is the best part; it *works*. Maybe it shouldn't, but it does, and you write it very well.

Short *and* sweet. Just what I was hoping for, and I didn't even have to say a thing. Huzzah? =D One of the things I've always appreciated about you as an authour is your ability to communicate so much in so few words. Maybe it isn't your intention, but it tends to leave more to the imagination that way. I'm a verbose writer, so the concept is difficult for me to take hold of. Needless to say I'm rather happy with the results. ^^

The opening line of Reno's at first reminded me of Sabriel's "Foxtrot". In a way here, he was still asking her to dance, if in a slightly unorthodox way. The whole *fic* here reminded me of a great dance, each participant maneuvering themselves into place, following the steps. I loved that analogy. Once again, that was probably most likely unintended and I'm reading far too much into things, but let me have my moment, ya?

Incidentally, I did read the other fics you did. Good stuff, all of them. ^^
