This is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant dialogue and characterizations...which is why I'm so sad it's only the one chapter. I guess it's meant to be a one-shot, but I wish I could see this story continued--how Tristan deals with Joey and Seto, how Bakura deals with the spirit of the ring, what happens when Joey talks to Yugi.

So, if you ever continue this, I'll be the first one reading it! Congrats on a fantastic job.

This story is more than 'okay.' It's a very insightful look at an issue a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh slash authors tend to ignore. I'm mainly referring to Tristan's thoughts on Joey's relationship with Kaiba, but I also liked Bakura's introspection about the spirit of the ring. Nice characterization all around! :)

Good story; loved the interaction between Bakura and Tristan. Very sweet.

Clever, though I didn't think you were giving Tristan enough credit at first. Then again, a dose of realism to such a popular issue makes for a welcome change.
