Oh, wow. That was beautiful. I don't usually read Harry/Dean (actually, this is the first), but I came across this on dorrie6's rec page and it intriguied me. It was beautifully written with very interesting characterisations. I really liked it.

Gosh, I love your work (not all of it, because I haven't read all of it, but your two Dean/Harry fics).
This is so touching and I like your Harry much better then most Harrys I've read. His sadness is so palpable, but so is his quiet happiness in this fic.
Your Dean, however, is not fannon to me, but cannon. I haven't read anything significantly well-written about Dean Thomas (and JK Rowling only refers to him in passing) so your Dean is now my Dean. And whenever I discuss Dean with other people I shall refer them to your two fics.

This was adorable. I love how Harry pays attention to odd and obscure details in his art. It's something I can relate to and makes the piece more enticing. I also like the Harry/Dean pairing. It's a very unusual one, but I think it would suit the characters more than many other pairings do.

This is a lovely piece - an unusual pairing combined with a artistic theme to create a simple yet touching love story. Dean's quiet affection is beautifully portrayed, and I love the little touches such as the Hydrating Potion on Harry's lips, and the smudges on the older drawings. I find it also very sweet how while the places that are important have been sketched in such loving detail, even those whom Harry cares for are only shown in retrospect - the extra detail on Dumbledore's and Hagrid's chairs, Neville's shadow in the greenhouse, a scribbled-out Hedwig, Hermione's form huddled asleep over books, Ron's form huddled under a blanket, Dean's hands holding a book. Nowhere do we see a face - a heartwrenching realisation. This is the first time I've ever seen anyone attempt this pairing, and you've done it proud.

This is really sweet. I hope there's more to this later on, please continue!
