Okay - First of all - WONDERFUL! BRAVO!
Anyone who was too stupid not to read this really has missed out, because it was so good.
Second, you didn't need to explain. The Akito thing was a twist, a perfect twist. I was not upset that it was not Yuki, only happily surprised. You had not said one way or the other and it could have been either. You did good to lead the story that way. Also the ending was so good.
I loved this, just loved it. Please do another story soon, and I think you should try a sweet little FB love story. You would do wonders... I would love to read something like this from you. You are so talented that it makes me want to cry. Even makes me a wee bit jealous, and that is interesting, because I am Miss anti-jealousy. : )
This part: A puff of pink smoke explodes around the child. Alarmed, I step closer, is this an assassination attempt? The smoke clears, and my wife screams. - made me laugh, not because it was funny or wrong, but with pleasure, it was just so perfect.

Woo-hoo. I finally got time to read this whole thing so far. :) I like the idea how he goes looking for this tale. Other ones I've read usually just have a Sohma did wrong and he is cursed with the zodiacs, which had nothing to do with the story. This has this Sohma, looking almost for the tale of the zodiacs, wanting the riches rumored with it. :)

I have been trying all week to find time to catch up on my reading. Glad I made time for this chapter, wonderful. Don't worry about the low readership, I love this. It's different, which is a nice change. Also, I notice you can never tell how readers will respond. When I expect them to like something they don't, and when I think I writen a sucky chapter they will love it... go figure. Anyway, keep up the good work.
