That was fantastic, and exactly in character. You've got Wolfwood down. Though, I must say that the last part about Wolfwood's betrayal being teh final straw wasn't true for the anime. (Don't worry, I like that thought, its cool, but its just not what ended up) In the anime the final straw was Vash killing Legato. It almost seemed to me that Vash understood what Wolfwood had done, and was not hurt by his betrayal as much as he was hurt by his loss. Now this is totally off-topic to your review, but I have this wacked (as my friend calls it) theory that that both Vash and Knives had to pass their own tests to become "human". For Knives, that's learning the good side of humans. But Vash already knew about that, so he had to learn the dark side of being human-what its like to kill. How's that for interesting role reversal? Now, sorry for the tangent, really. Jsut wanted to tell someone that. Anyway, I put this and you on my fav author/stories lists, but there's so many up there already I doubt it'll show up. Keep writing, please.
