I'm not really sure how that's H/G, seeing as they didn't have any contact during the Yule Ball and Ginny was mentioned once or twice, but I can't deny it's a good story!

Loved it! I think this is the fist songfic I have actually bothered to read all the way through! Normally I find them a bit tedious, but this was just spiffing!

Commenting on your bio: When you watch musicals while sliding down the stairs what do you do once you reach the end (of the stairs and/or movie that is :-))?
Secondly: You added where you are from in your Bio! I would hope that is also due to my pleading but then again I somehow doubt I have that degree of influence on you yet, but anyway thank you!

Towards your story: I could have danced all night...honestly, I am normally not much of a songfic person and don't really like the songs introduced in mystic novels like The Lord Of the Rings mostly because I have problems imagining a fitting-type of song and melody. Since I know "My fair lady" (If you don't - anyone - stop what you are doing and make sure you solve that hole of knowledge a.s.a.p) I did not have a problem with imagining Ginny singing away, actually I have caught quite and earworm (as in I can't get the melody out of my head - does that exist in English) and so I really liked this fiction of yours. The interaction among the characters was also very funny, so I really could be convinced to read another songfic of yours. As I am thinking about posting something of my own if I get a grip on things I know how difficult it is to write a short story that is funny, makes sense and is completed in its own - so great job!

On a more personal note: I sort of imagined that you where of Asian heritage (using the German and US interpretation of "Asian" here before you U.K. people get a go at me). During university in London I realised that many families of Eastern heritage called their children Margaret, Teresa, Jenny or alike often as an alternative to a foreign name, so do you have one? I am just so nosy as some people will be able to tell you. If you see this as a threat of your privacy accept my humble apologies. Take care and if I find the time I will probaly annoy you some more on one of your longer fictions so you get to strike back.

Hey Margaret! This is the author of Beyond Skin Deep. I liked your song! I love all Audrey Hepburn movies (even if she didn't sing in My Fair Lady!) But mostly I wanted to thank you for your review! Wait and you'll see Marissa's importance. I don't want to give anything away, but she is a major player in the plot, and I will say that she is more than what meets the eye. I wanted to let you know, so you didn't get put off at all. In fact, Marissa is a lot like me. (except for her blue eyes, those are my friend's) Thanks again for the wonderful review. It made my day *sighs*
